If you’ve been looking for a scholarship to help you pay for graduate school, you may have already found out that doing so can take quite a bit of effort. The scholarship world seems to be flooded with opportunities for high school students and others entering college for the first time, but offers for veteran students hoping to continue their education seem to be few and far between.

There is good news, however: scholarship opportunities for graduate school do exist. One such opportunity is the AISES Google Scholarship. If you are seeking a computer science degree or a masters degree in computer engineering and also happen to be American Indian, Native Hawaiian, or Native Alaskan, you may be eligible for the AISES Google Scholarship for graduate students in the field of computer science or engineering.

Every year, the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) offers a Google Scholarship to an individual pursuing graduate school in the areas of computer science or computer engineering. To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

• Have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0
• Be at least a sophomore in college planning to seek a masters degree or higher
• Have plans to pursue a computer engineering or computer science degree
• Be at least one-quarter American Indian, Native Alaskan, or Native Hawaiian or member of an affiliated group or tribe
• Be a member of AISES
